How does the Strava integration work for fundraisers?
Each participant connects their own Strava account through a one-time OAuth authorization, then imports activities by date range. Runs, rides, swims, hikes, and walks map to your campaign's activity types and units, with no manual mile logging.
What if a participant doesn't use Strava?
They log activities manually (decimal units supported) from their activity dashboard, admins can log on anyone's behalf, and organizers can bulk-import spreadsheet activity logs, built for paper-tracked school events.
Can we track things other than miles?
Yes. Define custom activity types and units, laps, books, pages, hours, reusable across campaigns. A read-a-thon works exactly like a run-a-thon, just with different units.
Do synced activities update pledges and leaderboards automatically?
Yes. Imported and manual activities feed badges, individual and team leaderboards, campaign-wide goals, and per-unit pledge calculations in real time, and roll up to team pages and the main event dashboard.
Can participants set personal goals?
Yes. Each participant sets their own targets per activity (for example, 50 miles) with progress bars on their dashboard and public page, alongside a recent activity feed and next-badge preview.
Can we export activity data?
Yes. Activity logs export at the fundraiser, team, and event level, and exports include every fundraiser, even those with zero activity, so participation reporting is complete.
