Do guests need an app to bid?

No. Guests bid from a personal Magic Link in their phone's browser, with no app download and no password. If they lose the link, they retrieve their registration with an SMS or email one-time code. See mobile bidding for the full guest flow.

Does BetterUnite charge per auction item?

No. Items are unlimited, with photos and video on each, bulk CSV import, and reusable item templates that carry catalogs between auctions year after year.

Can BetterUnite run silent, live, and online auctions together?

Yes. Silent, live, and hybrid formats run side by side, and standalone online auctions get their own activation and URL independent of an event. Guests see the auction, raffle, fund-a-need, and items for sale behind one link, and they pay in one cart.

What if we don't have enough auction items?

Two built-in answers: a consignment marketplace fills catalog gaps with no upfront cost, and public item-donation forms let supporters submit in-kind items that you approve straight into the auction.

What payment methods can auction winners use?

Card, Google Pay, PayPal, Venmo, ACH, stock donation, and donor-advised funds, plus promo codes, pledge options, and configurable fee coverage. Card preauthorization at registration makes closing-time checkout one click.

Can bidders stay anonymous?

Yes. Anonymous bidding hides a guest's name on public screens while organizers keep full visibility for awarding and checkout.
