BetterUnite is a SaaS solution for nonprofit organizations to optimize raising money online. Our innovative and comprehensive fundraising ecosystem is a one-stop-shop solution built to empower orgs to accomplish data-driven fundraising by bringing all of the fundraising software tools needed into one place. BetterUnite is free to onboard and begin raising money – we offer organizations transaction-based pricing so that they are able to do the work of fundraising and pay for software with money that’s raised or allow donors to cover the fees entirely.
BetterUnite has been built intentionally and in collaboration with fundraising professionals to include a robust donor management system, industry-leading virtual event and event tools with mobile guest experience and silent and live auction supports, crowdfunding, giving pages, membership and volunteer management and administrative tools like grants and pledge management.
Our small but mighty team is expanding. We are looking for more experienced support staff to join our sales team and work with our existing team and customers to improve our support capabilities.
You are a perfect fit for this opportunity if you have:
- Highly motivated self-starter willing to take the job responsibilities and communications personally to excel
Experience in nonprofit fundraising efforts, you don't have to have worked at a nonprofit but need to be familiar with nonprofit basic structures, fundraising and outreach efforts
Understanding of development strategies and techniques to advise potential customers
Industry knowledge and familiarity
Familiarity with software concepts, like Zendesk and fundraising and event software a plus
Naturally become a “Trusted Advisor” to our clients by demonstrating value through strategic counsel and expertise, value of solutions, and our product
Ability to stay positive and neutral in the face of varying customer tones of communication
- You will join the team to help take on the support requests coming in via our case managemetn tool, Zendesk
You may be asked to provide pre-event and in-event support to some of our customers who select these options
You may have follow up meeting with our customers to make sure they are OK to continue using our system successfully
Maintain Case Management system with accurate customer and activity information
2+ years experience working with or within nonprofit organizations
A previous role in support or similar is preferred
- Comfortable with being single point of contact with customers to assess needs and devise targeted solutions
- Prior support experience preferred
