2022 February Product Release Notes

Hey there.

In time for Valentine's Day, we've fallen in love with all of the in-person events and online fundraisers that we are seeing launch for 2022. We've continued to innovate and update our event software and are completely confident that once you've run an event with BetterUnite, you will be in love too (no need to send flowers or candy).

NEW FEATURES & UPDATES

Notable Updates

Ability to update card details for recurring payments in member portal
Ability to email all purchasers their confimation receipts. This is especially useful if you did not use BetterUnite as your ticketing platform.
Guest Experience icons are now pinned to the top in mobile view to accommodate easier switching between giving modes
Easier access to custom check-out and custom guest fields, as well as access to documentation to help understand the data modeling around custom fields
More information and warning messages in the admin site to better guide users

Upcoming Updates

We will be making updates to Membership and Recurring Payments modules to allow donors to update their payment amount and date
Ability to expose more fields to members to be able to edit on their member portal (e.g. custom fields)
Ability to message members directly with SMS
Card expiration reminders (one of the most common reason for failed recurring payments)
Event activation flow: making it easier to see options for getting our help in your event
