Help us share Sarah Hill's inspiring story of unwavering faith with the world through a short film.

Wonderfully Made is a 501c3 Christian-based non-profit organiztion dedicated to helping today’s young women discover, strengthen, and reclaim their true value and worth. Through our conferences, films, podcast, resources and online community it is our desire to see this generation of girls and women rise up and live healthy, whole lives of lasting purpose, beauty and worth.

HerStory is Wonderfully Made's series of short films featuring inspiring women's stories. These are stories of struggle, faith, and triumph designed to bring hope to girls and women living in a toxic, broken culture.

We are raising support to produce a new HerStory film about an amazing woman named Sarah Hill, who is a youth leader and speaker and is a big part of Wonderfully Made's ministry. Portrayed by Carrie Underwood in the movie, "Soul Surfer," Sarah was instrumental in helping surfer Bethany Hamilton through a tragic shark attack that left her with one arm. Sarah’s own past, which includes suffering a broken neck and back in a surfing accident, helped prepare her and equip her in ministry. Sarah serves as a missionary on Kauai where she leads one of the largest student ministries on the Island. Grounded in her devotion and love for Christ, her training allows her to recognize those in need and gives her the ability to reach out to them. After growing up in a tough and abusive home and experiencing immense loss, through God’s grace, she continues impacting lives for God’s kingdom on Kauai…and beyond.

Sarah is a big part of Wonderfully Made.  She has spoken at our Hawaii conference in 2013 and has served as our closing speaker every year since 2014 at our Anchored In Love Conference. 100% of the funds raised will cover professional production costs.

ABOUT WONDERFULLY MADE

Mission:

Wonderfully Made is a voice of love and truth to today’s generation of teenage girls and women. We exist to share the truth about your value and worth. To spread the simple, life-changing message that you are not an accident — that you have been fearfully or lovingly and wonderfully made by God for a unique purpose.

The Issues:

Today's young women are having a hard time believing that they are wonderfully made:

  • Only 2 % of women describe themselves as beautiful
  • Up to 20% of girls age 10-19 are experiencing episodes of major depression
  • 1 in 3 girls are sexually abused by the time they’re 18
  • Over 10 million women in the U.S. are facing a life or death battle with an eating disorder
  • 3 out of 4 American women struggle with disordered eating
  • The prevalence of self-injury among teenage girls and young women is rising dramatically.
  • 1 in 3 teens, 33%, experience abuse in their romantic relationships, including verbal and emotional abuse, physical or sexual abuse.
  • Approximately 100,000 American girls are entering into prostitution each year

The messages shared at our conferences as well as the content we produce through our podcast and films address many of the issues head-on that young women are grappling with. By sharing messages of Biblical truth and personal testimonies, we are bringing hope and healing to tens of thousands of girls and women every year. We believe media is a powerful tool to reach this generation of girls and young women. Our HerStory films have been viewed over 35,000 times online, and we show them regularly at our conferences in front of thousands of girls. Please join us in helping young women know a greater hope by bringing hope to girls and women through the production of Sarah's HerStory film.
