Keystone APG is a nonprofit organization that helps families and youth that are struggling with mental health and substance misuse. We utilize community based support and peer guidance to help families recover. These trips can be life-changing for youth. It gives them the opportunity to get a break from their sometimes very chaotic life and get away on a trip with their friends who understand what they are going through. This allows them to create lifelong bonds with each other, make memories in recovery, and for some it is their first vacation in their life. The trips also allow for youth to get outside in nature and engage in activities that they may never have done before. These activities can introduce them to healthier choices and opportunities for improving their overall wellness.
