About Austin Recovery

Our Mission

Austin Recovery's mission is to provide a network of compassionate, community-based, person-centered care to those impacted by substance use disorders, regardless of race, gender, age, or station... because everyone is worthy of recovery.

The Austin Recovery Programs

University High School

University High School is an immersive recovery-focused high school for students in grades 9-12 who have struggled with substance use disorders.

We provide a safe, supportive, academic high school experience and are privileged to enjoy a partnership with the University of Texas (UT High School) which provides a robust academic curriculum. Diverse recovery supports include:

  • Morning and midday recovery activities
  • One-on-one check-ins with staff
  • Mindfulness exercises
  • Wellness activities
  • Service work
  • Off-campus enrichment trips during our Friday Fill-Ups

Keystone Teen and Family Support

The Peer Support model consists of providing teens with a fun and safe environment, opportunities for lifelong bonds to be formed between them, and providing them with support and accountability from the staff and their peers. A big part of our program is parent involvement. Addiction is a family disease that affects more than just the person using drugs or alcohol. We believe that the whole family has to change for a transformation to occur.
