AYP Ladies staff and teachers were inspired and empowered to lead Africa Yoga Project's first ever Seva Safari program tailored specifically to empower WOMEN through Yoga for 12 Step Recovery. This important project will help uplift some of the most vulnerable in our society.

This August Julie, Catherine, Wanji, Nyakinua, Leah and a group of our powerhouse women from AYP will journey to Mombasa (Coastal Kenya)  to work with women in recovery at an addiction recovery center through workshops on Y12SR, Mind-Body Wellbeing and Meditation.

Our teachers and staff were trained in yoga for addiction and recovery by powerful woman leader and friend of AYP, Nikki Myers, founder of Y12SR.
