Youth Rise Texas is launching a Youth Steering Committee! YRTX steering committee positions youth to be the organization's decision-makers. This committee helps decide the organization's priorities and manages how our programs' future operates. This committee consists of youth who have escalated through our Leadership Development Pipeline and are elected by their peers to serve. This is a paid position.

Youth Rise Texas is equipping young leaders with life skill acquisition, skill development rooted in community organizing and healing, and exploring the systems that shape their lives. 

My experience with Youth Rise Texas has been very rewarding. I'm inspired by the youth and their unwavering passion to create change in our community. They've shared their stories of heartache as well as their successes openly and honestly. For that I am forever grateful!
