COURSE DESCRIPTION: A subject matter expert will present on the logistics of UAs (the call in system, testing schedule and locations, etc.) and then open it up for questions about testing and results.

BIO: Angela joined the 18th Judicial District Probation Department in January 2012, initially serving as a Probation Officer for both the juvenile and adult mental health caseloads and transitioned to Probation Supervisor in March 2018. She currently supervises the Wellness, Recovery, Sobriety, and Veterans Treatment Court programs as well as the Economic Crime Unit. She is an active member of the Health & Wellness Committee in the 18th and very excited about some of the trainings and initiatives being implemented to better support workplace wellness. Prior to her work with probation, she was a Mental Health Specialist with Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network at the Juvenile Assessment Center and an Adolescent Caseworker with Jefferson County Human Services. Angela graduated from the University of Denver with a Masters Degree in Forensic Psychology and completed her undergraduate degree at Marquette University majoring in Psychology and minoring in Criminology and Law Studies. She feels lucky to be working in Problem Solving Courts and being a part of the change and success not often seen when mental health and addiction intersects with the criminal justice system.
