All committee leaders and members, Temple event planners, and any other interested folks are urged to attend From Inclusion to Belonging, a workshop on disability awareness. Temple members Denise Jacobson, Stephanie Eckhaus, and Hilary Altman will lead an interactive hour focused on heightening our awareness, in order to keep accessibility and inclusion in the forefront of planning instead of at the end.

The benefit of the concept wasn't just that we, as a Jewish people, had an obligation to "welcome the stranger," but also to enhance our perspectives for compassion for others and for ourselves and to think outside the box, stretching our collective and personal capacities to alleviate the challenges we face.
