Join congregant Denise Sherer Jacobson in a viewing and discussion of the Academy Award-nominated film, CRIP CAMP: A Disability Revolution. Denise was a story consultant as well as a featured personality in the documentary produced by Higher Ground (Barack and Michelle Obama’s production). Get an inside perspective on the making of the film, its premier at Sundance, and the whole Crip Camp experience. Special Guest, Bruce Burger, aka Rebbe Soul, the son and nephew of the co-founders of the camp will be sharing anecdotes about his youthful summers at Camp Jened (Crip Camp).

 

This free event is co-sponsored by the Access Committee and WTS. It will take place in the Albers Chapel and is wheelchair accessible.
