the time of this shift may vary from what is advertised here. Day before event set up at the venue will allow for ease of event on the day of. Please dress comfortably for decorations, table adornment, hanging themed event props and assuring table placement for seating will allow for best guest experience.

driving a route to safely pickup multiple desserts to deliver to the Swinomish Casino for the event. This requires use of your own personal vehicle for the route, must be licensed and insured to drive in WA.

A spectacular showcase is planned for this evening of excitment as our donors raise the paddle to support our mission.  Special effects Lighting tech positions will require perfect timing with a team of 3 to coordinate lights and flair to occur at specified donor targets, as they are acheived!  Being alert will be most critical for the show to enthuse our audience to continue giving as the spectacle becomes more rewarding at each level acheived.

Keeping the raffle table organized and attractive to guests as they select their items to drop tickets in for a chance to win. Capturing the highlights for us to share with our donors later on will be a very meaningful activity for the person who fills this role.  Major sponsors, paddle raising, match challenge... all of these moments and more, like the dash for desserts and the special effects when milestone meaeures are met!  This will be an active position and will rely on your sences for best imagery and timing for shots that can be utilized in future marketing and recognition.

One of the most important jobs of the day will be the registration position.  This articulate person is a savvy quick learner, with a knack for friendly technology.  Identifying each guest and assuring their contact details and preferences are in order so they can relax and enjoy the evening ahead with ease.  With the intensity of a line this cool and passionate volunteer will have a smooth interaction with every guest and the personality of a people pleaser.  We will be requiring a 1 hour training in advance of the event for the software and tools utilized around this supportive role.  This training will be planned for the week ahead of the event and is in addition to our All Volunteer training we anticipate falling about 2 weeks ahead of the event date.

this can-do spirited role will be available to assist in so many ways, leading guests to their tables, conveying guest info to staff and board team for seamless guest experience. May assist with raffle winner selections and package transfers. Other duties may be assigned

Solicit guests to purchase multiples of raffle tickets for the open basket Raffle Table prizes. Positive and assertive personalities will excite donors into purchasing more for the fun of the gamble and the gift to our cause.

Are you super fast with incredible eyesight and hearing?  Has anyone been astonished by your ability to act as a human calculator?!  We really need you if you are this person, with agile eyes and hands to actively follow bids in the room as paddles rise and fall, to tally the donations during Raise the Paddle as well as follow the winning bidders through the live auction with accuracy.  This is a fast paced job with a very important role.  The setting may be dark in the room with noise and bursts of light as bidders and donors alike continue to push us towards our goal of $100,000!  Recording will be manually tabulated by multiple Counters and comparisons for accuracy will be verified prior to executing any formal charges for the evening.

take over duties of first shift table tender. encouraging guests to bid high on table dessert forms to get 1st selections from the wonderful dessert variety. Casino staff should manage cutting each into a 10 top portion. Keep signage with desserts when winners select theirs!

we will need 2 Raffle Prize selectors to identify winners and assist with monitoring the delivery of all packages before the close of event. Prize winners are verified by their raffle ticket numbers but tracking who won, by their Bidder number will also be critical for our records of the event

This role assists in identifying the proper prizes for each of our winners as they approach for an expidited exit for all our guests.  Aiding in the coordination of any last minute registration needs for donors, bidders, and raffle players.  A calm demeanor with an eye for accuracy will be of great benefit in this position.

The tireless individuals who fill this role will be able to swiftly break down event props and swag items as directed, to pack for safe travels back to storage.  Assisting in loading vehicles will be helpful.  Other venue clean up may be handled by the staff.  Good communications skills helpful here to assure proper items are being packed and moved, while others need to be left behind.
