Workday Fridays make a difference in the lives of our Triangle neighbors by making home repairs they are unable to do themselves.
Hundreds of Triangle-area homeowners live in unacceptable conditions without the means to move or to improve their environment. Thank you for volunteering to help us to make a sustainable impact for area homeowners.
We will be working at the home of Twana Newton, a Wake county homeowner who cares for her mother who is in her 90's.
Our projects:
Sand and paint the handrails Tighten up the front porch rails(possibly paint them) Build and replace screens on the screen porch Replace 2 toilets Install grab bars at 2 bathtubs Replace a dryer vent outlet
We will work from 8 am - 4:30 pm. Bring your lunch and plenty to drink.
You will be signed up once you complete the contact information form, and acknowledge the volunteer and wellness waivers. You will receive a confirmation email once the registration is completed. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. You may contact our office at info@rttriangle.org with any questions.
