Marty’s Place Senior Dog Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing senior dogs – 7 years of age and older – physical comfort, emotional care and enrichment in a safe, loving and protected environment.  Our dogs come to us for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to, owner passing or illness, financial hardship, neglect, and relocation. 

Increasingly, dogs come to us from owners because of financial hardship, including owners no longer able to care for their dog due to physical/medical issues.   The decision of how, when and where to rehome a pet can be heart wrenching for all involved.  Those decisions become harder when the pets are themselves seniors.  Marty’s Place provides an option that gives the owner comfort in knowing their cherished senior will be safe and well cared for during their remaining years.
