Thank you for your suppport of Jacob Green Charity Golf Classic.  We are looking for volunteers to help with the following:

 

Jacob Green Charity Dinner & Auction, Wednesday, July 13 at 6pm at Hyatt Bellevue

 

Jacob Green Charity Golf Tournament, Thursday, July 14, The Golf Club at Newcastle 

 

Please feel free to sign up for opportunities on both dates if available.

 

For the auction/dinner, please sign up for ONE combination of tasks under the green button.  Click on the tasks you want and fill in the required fields.  We will be in touch as we get closer to the event with all the details.  Please mark your calendars!  Thank you in advance for your help!

 

 

Jacob Green Charity Dinner & Auction -  Volunteer Arrival time: 4:30pm  Event begins at 6pm

Volunteer opportunities include:

 

  • Check-In/Registration- (4 needed)  Check-in patrons as they arrive. Guests will pick up check in envelope. Detail-oriented people are needed to confirm patron payment and any details they may need for auction night.  
  • Raffle Sellers - (4 needed) During the reception, raffle chances are sold to guests.  The winner will have the opportunity to win a fabulous item.  Winner will be announced during the event.  Volunteers will work in teams. This job is for the outgoing volunteer. 
  • Spotters –4 needed)  For the live auction, spot bidders for the auctioneer. Assist Live Auction Runners in finding the winning bidder. This job is for the outgoing volunteer.
  • Recorders-(2 needed)  For the live auction, recorders will document bidder number and winning price in the auction log. The recorder will also keep a running tally of the live dollar amounts for the auctioneer’s needs.  Recorders must be very detail-oriented.
  • Floater –(2 needed)   If you are willing to fill in wherever needed.

 

Jacob Green Charity Golf Tournament:  Registration begins at 9am. 

Volunteer opportunities include:

 

  • Assemble Tee Prizes/Registration, 8:00-11:00am (4 needed)
  • Celebrity Registration, 9-11am (1 needed)
  • Hole In One Spotter, 11am-end of golf (approximately 5pm) (6 needed – 3 teams of 2)
  • Hole In One Floater, 11am - end of golf (approximately 5pm) (4 needed)
  • Putting Contest, 10:30- end of golf (approximately 5pm) (2 needed)
  • Course Driver, (drinks, food, floater), 10am - end of golf (approximately 5pm) (2 needed)
  • Photography Assistant, 11am-3pm (1 needed)
