ABOUT THE BREAKTHROUGH BENEFIT CONCERT, PRESENTED by AMD
Each fall, Central Texans come together at the Breakthrough Benefit Concert to make a difference for students in our community. Join Breakthrough in celebrating our 20th anniversary at the 2022 Breakthrough Benefit Concert on October 27. This year’s event includes a silent auction, passed bites and drinks, a program, and an exclusive concert by Grupo Fantasma. Together we’ll celebrate two decades of groundbreaking work and lay a foundation for the years to come!
A special thanks to Dr. Jim and Irma Brand and Stephanie and Todd Routh for Co-Chairing this year's event!

CONCERT by GRUPO FANTASMA
Grupo Fantasma is a Grammy award winning Latin-Funk & Cumbia orchestra from Austin, Texas. Bring your dancing shoes! The band has performed across the state, across the country, and around the world. Most recently, you may have seen Grupo Fantasma at Blues on the Green. Please note: The music will be played over speakers at a concert-volume regulated by the band requirements and 3TEN ACL Live staff. If you have any concerns about volume, consider bringing earplugs to reduce music volume.
CELEBRATING BREAKTHROUGH STUDENTS & ALUMNI
As part of the Breakthrough community, we are fortunate to partner with many amazing individuals pursuing their dreams! A number of Breakthrough Alumni and college students are attending the Benefit Concert, which will be indicated on their name tag. We know you will enjoy engaging in conversation and celebrating their Breakthrough journey with them!
Of course, sharing personal stories can sometimes be a vulnerable experience. Breakthrough strives to uphold the ethical standard of “Do No Harm” within our community, which includes approaching everyone without judgement and respecting their boundaries. Thank you for helping us ensure a welcoming space!
Please contact Michelle Monroe at michelle@breakthroughctx.org if you have any questions.
