The Stella Projects is a new initiative for Belle and Sparrows. It will be a comprehensive, holistic model across several modalities with the first phase being the development and implementation of a consumable line of products. The Stella Projects will seek to train and employ an extremely underserved population of women while restoring their sense of worthiness and dignity. As a result, we anticipate a rise in community awareness to the need in our own back yard as well as becoming a beacon of hope to women in similar situations around the US. Additionally, the community will benefit because women will move from government assistance programs and/or criminal activity to become independent and self-sustainable and contributing members of society. The success of the project will serve to enhance quality of life and break long-term existing generational cycles without compromising future generations.
The Fund a Need options are helping women right here in our own backyard and also ones coming to us from other facilities across the US to have affordable housing, support, mentors, counseling, hands on job training and the ability to learn a trade or skill to supplement their income!

Would you like to pick up, have us drop off or mail you a change for change jar? You fill it up with all your extra change and get back to us and that's an easy way to make a big difference. You can get your kids involved or school or sports team or life groups etc. Be creative, come up with a competition and let us know what you are doing!
The Stella Projects mission is to RESTORE DIGNITY and quality of life to women by ELIMINATING BARRIERS to success through entrepreneurship, innovative education and training and community driven programs. The Stella House will provide a place for women to live where they can lead a healthy, fulfilling life of self-reliance and dignity. It will be a temporary and safe home for women to use as catapult as they enter back into the community as a stable foundation for their families.
Belle & Sparrows partners on a regular basis with local programs that help women who are facing insurmountable odds. We come alongside these women to pamper them, feed them, and show them the redeeming love of Christ through prayer and bible time.
Training and supplies for teaching women to care for bees and hives throughout the year.
Chicks for Chicks is our second domestic social enterprise project for The Stella Projects. This project empowers the women we serve to grow in their ability to be a self-reliant support for their family. Raising the chickens and selling their eggs will give the women a sence of diginity and accomplishement. They also will be adding more skill set to their resume by learning how to budget, market and sell and item.
Our chicks are growing and we need to expand their living quarters to get ready for them to lay eggs. We would love you to help them with a forever home!
Hand pouring, marketing and selling, handcrafted candles is The Stella Projects third social enterprise project. Also, it is the first project of The Stella Projects to hire one of the women that Belle & Sparrows has served. This is a huge accomplishment and an answered prayer! Providing candle making supplies IMMEDIATLY impacts a local women's ability to be self-reliant!
Purchase a van for the home to help transport women and children to work and school and day care and school etc.
While Belle & Sparrows comes along side women to demonstrate the love of Christ and show them they are worthy, we also bring some fun to their lives! These women are working hard at putting their lives back together and sometimes they need a little break. That's when we enter their lives with a fun night of art therapy! We have heard such positive feedback about our ministry nights that bring fun, fellowship, and ART!
Belle & Sparrows helps local non-profits celebrate the birthdays of the women and children that are in their programs. This is such a fun way to honor these women and their children. For some, it has been a long time since they have been celebrated. THEY ARE WORTHY OF CELEBRATION!
Along with training, artisan business kits are brought to women, globally and locally, so they can learn a skill and earn an income. With each mission trip a new skill is taught so they can continue to add to their business. Currently, business kits have been brought to HAITI, GUATEMALA, and NEW MEXICO. To further support these business women, Belle & Sparrows has bought back some these products and we have them for sale in our Merchandise Shop.
As Belle & Sparrows continues to grow so does our need for space. We are currently using a small storage space at a local Cube Smart. We need this space to house everything, from mission trip supplies to marketing materials and items for the women we serve like starter kits and move in kits etc.
Bus passes for women to get to work, school, store and pick up children.
Property in a great location to make a destination visit for people traveling to the DFW area where our women can work, train and sell the good they make while learning new skills and a successful trade all while being mentored by some of the best local artisains, financial planners, business owners etc. Also, allowing them a schedule where they can go to school, therapy groups and parent their children while still pursuing a life of dignity and self-worth.
We are in need of an outdoor storage building 8x8 or larger for our Chicks for Chicks Project.
Donate $21 a month in 2021 to help offset the cost of job training program for a woman to get paid while receiving hands on training in the business field. Helping women to become a successful members of their community!
