As part of our annual Golf for Health Classic, the Southern Coos Health Foundation is holding an online silent auction! We have gathered together amazing baskets, several donated by our own Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center staff members, and many from local businesses as well as several from around Oregon. Some of our baskets are themed by area, while others are themed by description. We've got lots of certificates, wine, spirits, and fun swag!

What is the cause?

The Southern Coos Health Foundation is the fundraising arm of the Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center, located in Bandon, Oregon. For those of you living and loving the southern Oregon coast, you know that this is a beautiful section of the country. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Bandon, Oregon is home to fishing, windsurfing, shopping, beachwalking, dog-walking, golfing, and much more.

The Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center is the only medical facility of its kind within 30 miles in any direction. SCHHC offers 24/7 emergency medical services as well as primary care and full ancillary services. 

The hospital's foundation raises funds to support programs and equipment purchases for the hospital. In the past, funds from the Golf for Health Classic have funded the purchase of new surgical equipment, IV pumps for our emergency department, and funds for our community School Nurse Program, as well as community health and education programs such as Women's Health Day, Aging Well in Bandon event (coming next spring!), our Drive-through Flu Shot Clinic, free breast and prostate cancer screenings and more.
