Dear High School Latin Dance Students,

Thank you for registering to attend the Latin dance lessons this May 26, 2019 at the Silver Spring Civic Center in Silver Spring, MD.  The purpose of this Latin dance education workshop is to provide you an opportunity to continue developing your dancing skills through these intensive and professional Latin dance workshops provided by world known instructors Cecilia Villalobos and Psyon Scott. They will be able to tailor the workshop to meet your individual level and propel you to the next level.

MEET THE INSTRUCTORS

Cecilia Villalobos, AKA "The DC Salsa Queen" and Founder of Salsa Fuego Dance Company, is  one of the pioneers of the LA style salsa and On 2 Mambo New York Style dancing in the East-Coast area, Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia. She is also one of the current top international instructors and performers in the area. She is an energetic and explosive dancer who is known all around the world for her unique, sexy styling and body movement, on and off the dance floor, powerful stage presence, and passionate love for teaching. In addition, her humble attitude and welcoming personality is what makes her popular amongst the salsa community today.

PsyniiGianni Scott, a professional DC Salsero, started dancing at age 10, as he observed his cousins dancing Salsa, Merengue and Bachata. Scott, together with the many dancers following him on Facebook, has helped shape the Washington area and the International Salsa and Latin dance community. He started out with DC Salseros under the direction of Ricardo Loaiza and Elba Garcia. From there he was able to work with Latin Masters(UK) and help startup the Sandungueo Dance company under the direction of Harry Fry. He is the co-founder, and former co-director of the Clavekazi Dance Company. He later went on to establish the Mezzlocutis Dance company with co-director Tanya Fiske. Internationally recognized, and pioneer of the DC style Salsa, he has received numerous awards for his contributions as an Instructor, dancer and performer.  He has been featured on Bet,MTV,Univision,Telemundo, and appeared in the the short film "Mano", starring Laz Alonzo, Lee Thompson Young and Giancarlo Esposito.
