SILENT AUCTION IS LIVE ONLINE NOW

The Austin Center for Grief & Loss is excited to announce our annual Holders of Hope fundraiser and gala, taking place on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the beautiful Umlauf Sculpture Garden.  This special evening will feature inspiring stories of those lives touched by our programs and services.  We recognize the vital role of our supporters and donors in helping us provide healing services to those that have experienced trauma and loss.

The Austin Center for Grief & Loss relies on the generosity of our sponsors to provide critical services to children and adults including therapy, support groups and school-based groups in Title 1 schools, and Camp Red Bird a summer bereavement camp for children and teens.

Please support us as we continue to expand to meet the exponential growth in mental health needs by sponsoring our HOLDERS OF HOPE GALA. We believe that every individual deserves access to the care and support they need to navigate the difficult journey of grief, and your participation in Holders of Hope will help make this possible.

The evening includes a fantastic silent auction and an exciting live auction! The Holder of Hope Gala will feature delicious food, complimentary wine and beer, spectacular live music, and new experiences for our return guests!

Your sponsorship makes an enormous difference in the lives of hundreds of fellow Austinites every single year. Thank you for making hope and healing possible, and for your support.

$30 Memorial Candles

Honor the memory of your cherished loved one/s and illuminate the path of healing by purchasing a Memorial Candle for Holders of Hope.

To add a dedication go to "Add Comments" section under "Details". Provide your loved one's name under "Dedication" and personalize a message in the "Note" text box.

How it works: Secure your Memorial Candle by purchasing it in advance through our event website. On the night of the event, your candle will be thoughtfully displayed with your loved one's name and a personalized message. Each candle telling a unique story of a life well-loved and the display will stand as a touching tribute, symbolizing the interconnectedness of our experiences with grief and loss. As the gala concludes, take your candle home as a cherished keepsake and a source of comfort in times of remembrance.

Your Candle, Your Tribute: By participating in our Holders of Hope tribute, you are not only honoring the memory of your loved one but your act of remembrance becomes a vessel to bring hope, healing, and transformation to individuals and families navigating the complexities of loss.
