SWEAT is the Winner of the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Written by Lynn Nottage, a prolific African American female playwright, there is no better way to honor Black History Month than by viewing the work of one of contemporary theatre's greatest writers. Performed in Waco's historically Black theatre, the Jubilee, this play is going to be one that is memorable, challenging, and important.

Filled with warm humor and tremendous heart, SWEAT tells the story of a group of friends who have spent their lives sharing drinks, secrets, and laughs while working together on the factory floor. But when layoffs and picket lines begin to chip away at their trust, the friends find themselves pitted against each other in a heart-wrenching fight to stay afloat.
