This is a private event that is free to attend. You can donate on registration, or please bring your cash and checks to contribute to the cause on the night!

On arrival please show proof of registration to enter the space. And bring your own lawn chairs.

As well as being General Manager at Mission Tile West, her family-owned company, Tisa Adamson is a veteran of the SoCal music scene. After graduating from Creative Studies at UCSB she played in several local Santa Barbara bands opening for the likes of The Motels, X, Romeo Void, and Fear. Tisa now headlines her own shows featuring original music accompanied by Grammy Award winning guitarist, Randy Ray Mitchell.

Other bands taking part are:

Isla - a new collective of musicians exploring American surf guitar and exotica. Initially started by Sean Smith of LFZ and Will Ivy of Flat Worms, the group now also includes Yohei Shikano of My Hawaii, and Spencer Owen (Spencer Owen Timeshare)

Ed Tree - singer, songwriter, record producer who says, "I try to find out who the artist is and how we can make their record. I think that helps to make people want to work with you, that it’s not about me, it’s really about them and their songs,”

Cynthia Brando - moved to LA in 2013 to work as a musician. Since then she has "performed in many venues, festivals, homes, and as a street performer..." https://www.cynthiabrando.com/

Non Duo - Paul McCarty is from New Orleans (the swamp of the south) and Marina Gutman is from Moldova (the swamp of Europe). Their musical influences — gypsy/russian and cajun/rock — mix into an eclectic stew of styles. https://nonduo1.com/bio/

THE PARAMOUNT PROJECT

At the event you will find out about the Paramount Project, the campaign to rebuild the historic structures at the Ranch that were destroyed in the Woolsey Fire of 2018. More info:  https://samofund.org/paramount-project

Paramount Ranch lies within the boundaries of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, the largest urban national park in the country.

Movies have been made at this site for upwards of a century. It has been the backdrop for Westerns, international dramas, car movies, horror flics, comedies, adverts and music videos.  As well as many well-loved TV productions.  Who can forget American Sniper, Westworld and Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman to name just a few of the recent productions made here. Going further back, Marco Polo, Herbie Rides Again and The Lake House are also on the list!

Live music is also a regular at Paramount Ranch.  For many of its 60 years, the Topanga Banjo Fiddle Festival has held its annual event here attracting several thousand music fans from round the region and further afield to enjoy the music and to jam together.  The new event spaces that will be created as part of the rebuild will encourage even more music to be made here for at least the next 60 years!

All proceeds from this event will go towards The Paramount Project

HBO's Westworld filming at Paramount Ranch before the fire.
