Here’s your chance to be a kid again! The Rotary Club of Appleton is hosting a fun, filled, fundraising event to support Phase II of the interactive hand washing exhibit. Grab your friends, family, and neighbors for a fun evening at the Building for Kids, Children's Museum! All exhibits will be open for exploration, including the new interactive hand washing exhibit! There will be gourmet food stations served by Michiels Catering, a cash bar, and raffle for two chances to win gift cards to explore Downtown Appleton (valued at $500 each).
About the Exhibit
Wash up, Kids!' is the second phase of the 'Wash Up, Doc!' exhibit at the Building for Kids, Children's Museum. The ‘Wash Up, Doc’ exhibit is located in the BFK’s Doll Hospital and uses LED lights to simulate germs. Phase 2 will bring play to reality, allowing children to use the skills they learned in the interactive hand washing exhibit at the bathroom sinks with real soap and water! A colored soap will be added to the washrooms, in addition to traditional soap, that will allow kids to visualize if they have washed their hands long enough, and got in all the nooks and cranies! Interactive signage will also be designed to demonstrate the proper handwashing technique.
