This program was created by Micah Clayborne. On his 10th birthday he was overwhelmed with love because of the kindness of friends that had watched him stay strong through his mother's journey through heart failure and cancer. He decided that he wanted to carry on that same kindness to other children in similar situations. Micah Gives focuses on providing children a way to create loving and positive memories in the midst of their loved ones illnesses through his care packages that he has deemed "Mighty Packs".
Every child that is nominated will receive a Mighty Pack which includes a journal, writing utensil, an age appropriate game, and other goodies!
Micah realized that he would have much better memories of his mom as she went through heart transplant and cancer recovery if he had physical photos of her. In order to make that happen, once a month one of the nominees will win a Mighty Memory Pack which contains an instant Polaroid camera, film, and others goodies that will help to further make memories with their loved ones!
Eventually we would love to be able to include a camera in EVERY Mighty Pack to further Micah's dreams of making memories and spreading positive light and love in the midst of pain. Please join this little guy on his journey to change the world for children like him.
