Please join Latinitas for our annual Purple Party: Pickleball Tournament fundraiser on Saturday, June 1st, 2024, at East Paddle Club.

• Transport and handle equipment and materials from Latinitas office to East Paddle Club (2 minute drive)
• Assist in the set-up of event space, decorations, signage, or equipment 

• Oversee the check-in process for players, spectators, sponsors, and volunteers.
• Welcome guests warmly and provide assistance as needed.
• Guide attendees to the correct areas, including player registration, spectator seating, food and beverages, and volunteer stations.

• Talk about Latinitas programming and whats coming up

• Assist with the setup of the silent auction area, including arranging items and displays.
• Greet attendees with a friendly and persuasive attitude, guiding them through available auction items.
• Provide information about each item, highlighting its value and appeal to encourage bidding.

Looking for expereince Pickleball players who can referee a game

• Referees must have a thorough understanding of the official pickleball rules and enforce them consistently throughout the match. This includes rules related to serving, scoring, faults, and other gameplay regulations.

•  Referees will be responsible for officiating pickleball matches by observing gameplay, making calls on faults or violations, and ensuring that players adhere to the rules at all times.

•  Referees will keep track of the score during matches and announce points, faults, and side-outs as they occur. They ensure that the score is accurately recorded and communicated to players and spectators.

• responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of facilities such as community centers, event venues, or public spaces.

• Oversee the clean-up of event spaces once the event concludes, ensuring they are returned to their original condition.
• Coordinate the removal of trash and waste from the premises, including proper disposal or recycling as necessary.
