The volunteer will assist guests with the check-in process, making sure they have a credit card on file if they wish to participate in the silent auction and also ensuring the guests knows which table they will be seated at.

Volunteers working reception / check-in will need to arrive at Union Station's Grand Plaza no later than 4:30 pm so that they can receive training on the event management software.  These volunteers will also assist with the silent and live auction check-out process at the end of the event. The event will end at 11:00 pm.

Volunteers are asked to dress in black and white. 

Time Needed:  4:30 pm to Midnight.

Volunteers who assist with the set up of the silent auction will help with placing and arranging the silent auction items and the display stands on the designated tables. Items will be grouped by category. Volunteers who assist with the set up may also choose to volunteer to assist during the event. Time needed for Silent Auction up: 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm on Saturday, October 8th.

Help to breakdown the event by packing up silent auction items, center pieces and other items that need to be returned to Guadalupe Centers. 

Time: 10:00 pm to midnight. 

Live auction spotters / runners will be positioned throughout the room. When a person bids, the spotts will raise one hand to get the auctioneer's attention, while pointing at the bidder with the other hand. The spotters / runners will have the auction item winner complete a live auction bid sheet and turn that into the Live Auction Chair person. 

Time needed: 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Attire: Vollunteers are asked to dress in black and white.

Volunteers will assist with the set up of the tables by placing center pieces and placing greenery on the tables. They may also assist with putting the event programs on the guest chairs.

Time Needed: 1 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, October 8th.
