"Be Our Guest" 

Have you ever dreamed of being a Saltwater Cowboy or just getting that much closer to the action on Pony Penning Swim Day? Well, here is your chance to make that dream come true and help the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company support a wonderful fundraising effort for a new playground on Chincoteague Island. First, the details on how you can enter and what you will win. You and a friend will be the guests of the Saltwater Cowboys on their dock during the World Famous Pony Swim, July, 28th. You will be this close to the action! After the swim, you will hop on board the truck with the Fire Dept for an unpresidented ride to the carnival grounds during the parade. You will be part of all the action! That's something special that money normally can't buy, but here's your chance. Raffle tickets are being offered for $10 each for this unique experience. This raffle will remain open until May 31st. At that point, a winner will be drawn! So dont miss your chance to Be Our Guest!

This fundraiser has been started to help raise funds for a sensory playground that is being created in honor of Brianna Merritt, who inspired our community before her passing to be kind and help those you can. Her wish is continuing on today with the creation of this playground. The space will have activities for all children, even those with limited capabilitites. It will be a wonderful space for locals and visitors alike. We are proud to be a part of this effort.
