Mark McKinney and Steve Fedorko take a closer look at the relationship between the services professional and the client, with a focus—not on approaches to make the client happy—but on how to helpthe professional thrive, not just survive, in this chaotic world. Using their vast experience and their backgrounds in psychology, they outline a clear path to a richer, happier, more fulfilling life at work and at home. In this brief session, Drs. McKinney and Fedorko share a select few of the ideas and skills from their book including a fundamental lesson of emotional intelligence, a ninja skill for improving creativity and problem solving, and a simple exercise to build self-esteem, nurture personal connections, and prevent stress.
