COMPETITION & AWARDS

  1. PRE-EVENT FUNDRAISING CONTEST: Most "VOTES" (donations) prior to the show VIEW THE LEADERBOARD HERE $1 = 1 vote, $5 = 5 votes, etc... 
  2. VOLUNTEERS' CHOICE - FAVORITE COSTUME: Most votes by the volunteers in attendance during the dress rehearsal.
  3. JUDGES' CHOICE: Highest combined score given by our 4 judges during the show.
  4. PEOPLE'S CHOICE: Most "VOTES" (donations) during the show. $1=1 Vote, $5 = 5 Votes, etc... (In person and virtual audience can VOTE for their favorite couple(s) by making a cash, check or credit card donation during the show. No limit! May vote for as many couples and as often as you wish!)
  5. GRAND CHAMPIONS: Highest accumulated ranking of all 4 categories. Winner will take home a MIRRORBALL TROPHY! (Of course, the biggest winners are those who will receive the suicide prevention and mental health awareness education and outreach in our communities.)

FAQs ABOUT ATTENDING THE SHOW - BUY TICKETS EARLY - IT WILL SELL OUT!

Upper Level Seating is NOT handicap accessible. You must be able to climb up/down 2+ flights of stairs. Alternatively, Lower Level Seating is handicap accessible.

Receipt & Tickets: Check your email inbox for receipt from BetterUnite immediately upon purchase (if not there, look in spam/junk mail). Look for "Print Tickets" on the receipt. Printed tickets or electronic view on phone will be required at the door.

Parking: Park in the WEST Parking Lot and enter the building through the WEST doors. An elevator is available at this door.

Seating: All tickets are for a designated section. Seats within those sections are not numbered or reserved. First come, first choice within each section. There is a seat for every ticket holder within their designated section. All theatre style seating.

Upon arrival: Present your printed ticket or show electronically on your phone.

Dress Code: Gussy up for a night on the town - Cocktail attire suggested!

Parking: Use west parking lot & enter through WEST doors.

Showroom Doors open: 5:30pm. Come for the pre-show! Grab dinner from our Concession Stand and enjoy live music by Heidorn Music Experience!

Be ready to show us your smile in the photo op area!

Come hungry- DINNER OPTIONS & MORE available at our Concession Stand! No outside food allowed.

Come thirsty! Glencoe City Center will offer a CASH ONLY Bar with soda, beer, seltzers, wine, & liquor options available. No outside beverages allowed.

Event Merch! Souvenir judge's paddles and more!

There will be one 30-minute intermission after all 12 couples have danced (at approximately 8:45pm).

People's Choice Voting options: Cash, check, and credit card accepted with envelope collection, QR code scan, Text To Give & Phone Bank options available.

Tickets are transferrable but are not refundable. In the unlikely event the Show is cancelled for in person audience, your ticket purchase will automatically be counted as a donation and applied to the pre-event fundraising campaign for the couple of your choice.

ABOUT 2B CONTINUED

Teuby Continued (DBA 2B CONTINUED), is a MN based 501c3 nonprofit organization (Fed. Tax ID # 84-2398238) founded in 2019 in memory of Shelly "Teuby" Teubert, who died by suicide.

She is remembered for how she lived –as a mental health nurse who made a positive impact on her profession and saved many lives while caring for people with mental health challenges, and someone who once had a zest for life and loved to dance! Shelly’s legacy…2B CONTINUED!

Proceeds are used to carry out the organization's mission to increase awareness of suicide prevention, mental health & wellness through advocacy, education and outreach.

2B CONTINUED provides the HIGHEST LEVEL OF ENGAGEMENT IN THE REGION, serving the counties of Brown, Carver, McLeod, Meeker, Nicollet, Renville, Sibley, and Wright Counties, and beyond.

Program offerings include:

  • Continuing education for professional development
  • Evidence based training for community members
  • Partnerships with local schools to bring education to students
  • Activities and outreach that promote community engagement
  • Suicide Loss Bereavement Support Group and resources
