Youth are rising up in unprecedented numbers. Help us mobilize 5,000 first-time voters in 2020 & add fuel to their fire.

Our world is kind of a 🔥hot mess🔥 right now. We can't go back to school shopping, or even to school, without low-key fearing for our lives. Our families face vigilante violence in the streets, from police, and at the border. Kids are sleeping in cages, and our government wants to build walls where we need bridges.

Thankfully, WE are now the largest and most diverse voting block in Texas:

We're a state of 28 million people, where 43% are under age 30 & 62% of us are people of color
In 2018, Texas saw a 500% RISE (!!!) in youth voter participation
Youth Rise is the only peer-led high school voter mobilization and civic education program in Austin

This isn't the world we want, but it's the one we've got. So we're out to change that. To achieve the future we dream of, we need your help to scale up our youth voter mobilization efforts.

It takes a village, and every dollar counts. Pack your own lunch this month and send us $25 to register one new high school voter.

$50 Snacks 🍪 for 🍪 a 🍪 Month

This is HUNGRY WORK! We hand out snack freebies when we do classroom presentations, and your $50 gift will hook us up for a month.

$100 100 Printed ✅ Pledge-to-Vote ✅ Cards

When we register a new voter, we also ask them to sign a pledge to vote card so we can text them ahead of time and remind them when and where to vote. Your $100 gift will help us print 100 cards.

$200 📱 📲 1 Month of Peer Texting App 📱 📲

So how do we keep in touch with all these amazing young people, you ask? We text them! We use a peer-to-peer texting program that costs $200 per month.

$300 One Week's Pay 💸

We pay our Youth Organizers a $15 per hour living wage. Your $300 gift allows one young person to work a part time week registering their peers to vote.

$500 🍕🍕VOTE RALLY + Pizza Party 🍕🍕

We operate in five Austin area high schools and each year we put on a spring time Get-Out-The-Vote themed pep rally with free pizza for everyone! Wanna sponsor one for us?

$1,000 💥100 💥New 💥 Voters 💥 Mobilized💥

It costs us an average of $25 per person to register a young adult to vote for the first time, and then it costs us another $10 per person on average to get them to the polls. With a $1000 gift, you can sponsor us to get 100 new youth out and voting.
