Thinking back on your childhood, giving up your lunch money never felt so good, so we're giving yall a chance to turn that around. By bringing your lunch once a week in the coming year, you'll be able to reinvest in youth healing and pay it forward. 

Did you know that youth harmed by parental removal are over 7x more likely then their peers to be criminalized themselves, and 3x as likely to experience anxiety and depression?  Forget about being a leader - youth without our support are just trying to survive! That's why we know that a little can go a really long way in the world of youth leadership, and why Youth Rise uses peer-led programming to support healing, civic engagement, and self-empowerment for teens who have experienced the incarceration or deportation of a parent. Your monthly investment will help us do the following:

• $10 per month helps us by snacks for one of our five weekly Still We Rise peer-led healing circles
• $20 per month enables us to buy one month's supplies for one of the five schools we work in
• $30 per month enables us to pay for one peer leader to facilitate a healing workshop
• $50 per month allows for our peer leader's transportation needs to be met for a month, so that they can get to the schools they work in

So listen, we're only asking for your lunch money in exchange for a bit of power and hope in a young person's life.
