Dress Up Buttercup was founded in 2015 by Dede Raad as a fashion and lifestyle blog. It has since grown to be so much more than that. Now, it is a strong community of women, from all walks of life, that inspire, encourage, and have meaningful conversations about any and all things every single day.

Butter Together, the philanthropic branch of DUB, established the Spooky Walk in October 2020 in honor of Dede's mother who passed away after a long, courageous fight against the disease. The Spooky Walk is a time for the DUB community to come together and lift up those who are fighting against breast cancer, those who have won the battle, those who are no longer here with us, and those who are honoring a loved one who has been directly impacted by breast cancer.

The Dress Up Buttercup team is honored and so excited to be partnering up with Wonders & Worries this year to raise awareness and money for this incredible organization!

Learn more about Wonders & Worries

Wonders & Worries provides free, professional support for children and teenagers through a parent’s serious illness so that they can reach their full potential. Parents dealing with a cancer diagnosis, TBI, stroke, heart condition, neurological condition, or other physical illnesses and traumatic injuries often don’t know how to talk about their diagnosis and its impact on the family.

Our experts provide the foundation children and teenagers need to reach their full potential even though their parent is ill. Through individual and group therapy sessions, kids and teens learn about illness and build coping and communication skills. Our comprehensive programming is the only one of its kind in the US.

Wonders & Worries has been helping families who are dealing with parental illness since 2001, providing both an immediate and long-term solution to an acute problem in our community by supporting over 14,000 children and parents. All services remain free of charge to families because of the generosity of individuals, corporations, and foundations.

Please visit our website for more information about Wonders & Worries, our services, and how to get involved. Thank you for your generosity and support!
