For years the Waco Immigrants Alliance has walked alongside families facing an immigration-related crisis and provided specialized trainings and presentations to agencies who serve them. We've advocated for policies that honor the dignity and worth of our immigrant community members, and educated the public through countless events, forums, and film. Yet, having served as the Director of this organization since 2018 and a WIA member since 2011, I must tell you this: There's never been a more critical time to support our immigrant neighbors in the Waco community than now.
