Location: Stone Mill Artist: Silver Maple Construction RESERVED FOR STONE MILL   Inspiration: Welcome to Oona’s bridge to the future. Oona was originally envisioned by a member of the Silver Maple team as a play space for his daughter, but when we saw it, we were immediately compelled to have one of our own. The simple design and inviting curves welcome you in and its window-like structure gives you a feeling of being captured in a snapshot of the view. We incorporated Oona into our Bridges 20/20 project because, in these uncertain times, having a place to gather (at 6’) in a space that invokes whimsy while enjoying a view of something beautiful speaks to Middlebury’s bright future…so long as we band together as a community to make it happen.
