$35 will allow a family to participate in the Community Cooks Meal Box Delivery Program for one week 

($35 per week or $1,050 per participant for the whole 30-week program, including delivery)

The Community Cooks Meal Box Delivery Program provides multiple, complete ingredients for meals and recipe instructions from local partners, farmers, and producers. Through this program, participants gain access to healthy food and learn lifelong cooking skills. This program is targeted at those with transportation difficulties.

$50 will provide 1 Every Meal shelf-stable meal bag for 10 patients
Our community paramedics distribute the bags, filled with culturally specific food, as an emergency solution for patients in need during their at-home visit.

$100 will provide Matter boxes for 10 patients
Each Matter box is filled with enough healthy, shelf-stable food to feed a family of four for three days. Numerous M Health Fairview clinics have these boxes on hand to give to patients who show up to their appointments experiencing food insecurity. The boxes come with recipes and nutrition education.

$400 per patient for the 26-week Market Rx program

$400 will provide access to healthy food to a family for 26 weeks during the winter months. The Market Rx program offers patients a monthly voucher to use at Twin Cities Mobile Market or Fare For All.  The vouchers offer patients a vital option of choice and can be used for produce, meats, eggs, and dairy.

$1,000 per patient for the 26-week Veggie Rx program
$1,000 will provide fresh, local produce to a patient for 26 weeks. Through the Veggie Rx program, participants receive a free box of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) produce and recipes each week during the growing season from one of our local partners. People using the program report eating more vegetables, improvement in their diet, and more food security.
