"Sunset" oil on canvas With a personality as vibrant as her paintings, Belgium born artist Christiane David has taken art to a new level in Lancaster County. Walking into her Lancaster gallery on Prince Street is like walking into an enchanted world of color. Filled with an eclectic array of watercolors, acrylic, and oil paintings, it is no doubt one of the most vibrant colorful galleries you’ll find anywhere. Regardless of the medium or the subject matter, every painting large or small is a dramatization of color, texture, and dimension. Christiane loves to go deeper into the world of color. Her ability as a colorist allows her to see color not usually perceived by the untrained eye. She feels that color has a strong effect on our minds. Whether it has an uplifting and positive influence, or a serene relaxing affect, color can have a powerful impact on all of us. (From christianedavid.com) |

The Little Ferns parent-child class presents a handmade mobile made from driftwood and felted wool. This treasure is infused with the joy and wonder of our school’s youngest students, and the gentle care of their parents, grandparents, and caregivers. It is made from trees that have lived and died and been tossed from shore to shore, by sheep who share their bounty, by plants who lend their color, and by the good work of hands young and old. May all of this good energy bless a room in your home. |
Gnome succulent garden with painted handprints of the children. |
"Spring is Coming" wet felted wall hanging with two puppets |
The Dandelion class has worked hard on creating wet felted woodland creatures, mushrooms and leaves to put on our felted landscape scenery of the Susquehanna river. The wood pieces on the tapestry and the branch it’s hanging on is a gift from the river itself. |
The Buttercup Kindergarten has created a Spring Drift Wood Tree with hand sewn little felt balls and birds that hang from the branches. |
“Together with Our Teacher” - 12 children sailing the river blue with their teacher in a wooden boat. |
Class two made a set of bee hotels! They are hand cut by parents (thank you!), then hammered, painted, weather-sealed, and filled with bee rooms and lots of loving care by our dear second graders! Most of the filling materials were gathered from our nature walks. We chose the bees’ two favorite colors (yes, they have a preference!) and made sure to use materials that are inviting to our intended guests! This is our little way of giving back to those who bring us so much joy - beeswax is a second grade favorite! Thank you bees and thank you for bidding! |

Class three has made a beautiful throw blanket. Some squares are knitted others are crochet. Each child in the class made these squares and sewed them together. This class loves to crochet and knit! Thrown over your couch, chair, or bed and enjoy all the beautiful colors! |
Two dinnerware sets, all hand thrown by potter Marina McGrew and then adorned with hand-painted animals by the 4th grade students. TWO sets of each: 4 dinner plates 4 salad/dessert plates/ 4 bowls 2 serving dishes They are porcelain, dishwasher safe and oven safe (not from fridge to hot oven), and totally food safe. |

Class 5/6's project is inspired by the botany of the river. The first part is a framed collection of mushroom drawings. The second part is driven by the desire to use less plastic as we often find lots of trash by our beautiful river - beeswax fabric wraps to replace plastic wrap. |
Combining their love of artistic expression and their knowledge of geometry, 7th graders created geometric string art. Showcased within an 18x24" frame are 11 different circular designs from each student. Woven within the designs is a beautiful verse, handwritten by 7th grader Lucia Rudowsky. The words to the verse are as follows: We are weaving our lives, We are weaving our hearts and our minds, We are weaving the bright and dark threads, of our journey through. - Alexa Shelley Rose |
8th grade has made a collaborative tiled mirror decorated in the theme of “Fairytales.” The title of the piece is “Once Upon a Time” and it features images and elements from several different fairytales, like Rapunzel’s tower and Jack’s beanstalk. |
Papercuttings of the 12 Chinese zodiac signs, created by the Class of 2023. |
The fourth grade class has completed a special project with their Spanish teacher Ms Fernanda. They have created a fingerprint drawing made out of affirmations in Spanish. |

"Orchard and Farm" woodburning and gouache. Custom framed. Jenny Germann woodburned paintings draw influence from her travels and daily experiences. In order to create these narrative snapshots, she uses a blend of pyrography (woodburning) and painting. Pyrography lends a controlled and textural element, while the gouache is experimental and evocative. She mixes the mediums as a way to communicate observations, using making as a form of introspection, and personal expression. Jenny’s work is framed by her husband, designer and cabinetmaker Evan Germann. Her woodburned paintings are currently available at Red Raven Art Company in Lancaster, PA and Exhibit B Gallery in Souderton, PA. Born in Kansas, Jenny lives and works in Lancaster, PA. She earned her BFA from the University of Kansas and her MS from Eastern University. |

(1) $1000 gift certificate for: Exclusive, guided in-studio portrait session 14-inch Fine Art portrait finished on canvas with full artistry Beginning with a classic photography session, we capture portraits that embody the authenticity of your family, specifically the bond between parents and children. Your photographic portrait is then rendered into classical work of art on canvas. With digital brushstrokes to enhance and highlight each detail we create a stunning painterly portrait. This product gives you the realism of a photograph with the beauty, style and feel of a free-hand painting. Artwork is then printed directly to fine art giclee canvas, for added realism, contour brushstrokes and oil enhancements are added to your art. The result is a fine art piece reminiscent of a classical oil painting. Finally your work is finished with hand made gold leaf museum framing. Each frame is individually hand antiqued with a patina finish to give it the distinctly rich look and feel of a museum masterpiece for your home. |

"Seen and Unseen" giclee print Lynnette Shelley is an award-winning Pennsylvania artist specializing in contemporary mixed media animal paintings. Having a great love of wildlife, folktales, tribal art and world mythology, Shelley fuses these influences into her strikingly unique artworks. Her paintings strike a primal chord in many viewers, with almost Jungian associations to the colors and shapes. Her complex compositions and zoomorphic and totemic animal art and folklore-inspired creations are both primitive and sophisticated, and have been likened to images from an undiscovered ancient civilization or culture. Shelley's animal and mythological-themed artworks have been displayed nationally as well as regionally at museums, art galleries and other venues. Originally from Delaware, Shelley lives and works out of Ambler, in addition to a studio in West Chester, Pennsylvania.Lynnette Shelley is an award-winning Pennsylvania artist specializing in contemporary mixed media animal paintings. "Waiting for the World to Change #18" giclee print Regina Martin (Gina) spent her early years on a small seven-acre farm near Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Her fondest childhood memories include making pets out of every animal in the pasture, picking wild berries along the dirt road leading to the school bus stop, and fast bicycle rides down Bumble Bee Hill. Her love of gardening and appreciation of nature was fostered by the slower pace of life on the farm. Gina attended Lancaster Mennonite High School and shortly after graduation made Lancaster County her home. She is a graduate of Millersville University with a B.S. in Art Education. As an artist, Gina considers herself a late-bloomer. The decision to work toward a degree in art education at the age of thirty became a pivotal point in her life, finding the outlet she needed for her creativity. Gina and her husband Fred (who she met in painting class) married in Florence, Italy in 2000 and go back often to enjoy the art, food, and wine. In 2006 Gina became a founding partner of the Red Raven Art Company on Prince Street’s Gallery Row in Lancaster, and feels gratitude for all the support given by the local community. |

"Poppies" framed giclee print With a personality as vibrant as her paintings, Belgium born artist Christiane David has taken art to a new level in Lancaster County.

PLEASE NOTE: The 10 highest bids will be accepted, followed by first signed up, first served Join us at Gnomewood Farm in Wrightsville, PA for a guided plant walk followed by a foraged foods dinner on September 30 (rain date October 7), 2023. Our evening will begin with a guided plant walk along the wooded edges and meadow space of the property to discuss the many species found there and the various ways we can be in relation to them. Our walk will end in a fruiting pawpaw grove to discuss the history, ecology, and uses of this amazing native fruit - and of course to gather some for tasting. Please note that because of the terrain, the foraging walk and dinner will require a regular degree of balance and mobility. When our walk is finished, we will feast while enjoying the music of Leo Disanto of Vinegar Creek Constituency! Our menu will be carefully crafted to showcase the unique flavors of wild foods. Other ingredients will be sourced directly from Gnomewood and other local farms. We will also be serving a selection of wines and other beverages that have been carefully chosen to complement the flavors of the meal. We will survey attendees prior to the event to make accommodations for any dietary needs or restrictions. Our event will be hosted by Allen and Kerry Clements of Gnomewood Farm. Guided plant walk and foraged foods will be provided by Jon Darby of Riverbend Foraging and our meal prepared by Matt Allison of Welcome Matt Catering. We are looking forward to sharing this special evening with you, and we know that it will be an unforgettable experience. |

"Spring Forward" oil on Gessobord panel. "My life in the lush countryside of my hometown is a very important part of what I do. I might see flowers at my local farmers market, a resident wild bird with a quirky expression, a beloved family pet, holiday trappings around my home, or sweet treats on the counter, and be inspired to paint. I gather everyday moments and let my intuition guide me. I want to wrap up whatever strikes me, like a beautiful gift. My style is a mix of intention and intuition. Over time and with experience my canvases have become cleaner, colors brighter, and compositions simplified. As a trained commercial artist, my paintings are infused with the hand-crafted quality and geometry of traditional illustration. Through painting, I’ve discovered the magic that happens when colors mix and dance together in buttery oil paint." (From kimmyerssmith.com) |

(1) $50 gift certificate A Toy Garden is owned and operated by us, Erika and Pete Gustavson, from our 225-year-old stone farmhouse in the rolling hills of bucolic Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Since the birth of our eldest daughter, we knew that we wanted her to experience the world in a way that would encourage her innate curiosity. We were drawn to Waldorf education, with its holistic approach to each child's natural development, and its focus on the importance of their relationship with the wide world around them. We've been blessed with two more children since then, and have only increased our love and appreciation over the years for what are termed “Waldorf toys” — solidly constructed from natural materials, beautiful, and designed for open-ended use. Pleasing to the senses, made to be played with, and built to last. |
