Gumbo Cook-Off - 4pm-7pm - $100 Per Team, Must cook on premises. Only roux can be prepared ahead of time. 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Judges Awards & People's Choice Award. Sponsored by All Pro Electric.
Washer Tournament - 5pm - $20 Per Team, 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place prizes awarded. Sponsored by Her Messy Life & Honky Tonk Texas.
Pie Competition - 6pm - $5 Per Entry, 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place awards given in four categories: fruit, nut, savory, other. Sponsored by Jason Fuller-Edward Jones Investments.
Mullet Competition - 7pm - $5 Per Entry. 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place prizes for four age categories: toddler-age 12, age 13-20, age 21-40, over 40. Sponsored by Studio One.
Street Dance - 7pm-10pm One Up Productions will be spinning music from 5pm-10pm. JAG will take the stage at 7pm. Entertainment sponsored by Stewart Title.
Mobile Bar - 5pm-10pm - Must purchase armband or tickets. Hosted by The Hitching Post. Sponsored by Parker's Building Supply & Honky Tonk Texas.
It is FREE to attend the event but you must buy a Gumbo Ticket to try the gumbo.
Gumbo Tickets are $10 per person. Sample all of the gumbo and enjoy a bowl of your favorite and cast your vote for People's Choice! Drink included.
Vendors & Food Trucks are welcome to set up. Booth spaces are $25. If you are serving food, you must obtain the permits from the Hardin County Health Department as well.
All proceeds benefit the Save The Pines Project. The project is under the Silsbee Visitor Center, a 501c3. All donations are tax deductible.
