(STWF) works to provide solution-driven actionable items that help to remove barriers, providing better life outcomes for women. Text to Give 512 872 4729 code 600

STWF is making a difference by continuing their efforts in helping the community and asking for your support in  joining the 600 Club”

Your body does a good job internally of adapting to changes and stresses to keep everything in homeostasis. However, frequent and chronic stresses disrupt that system, a concept the medical community recognizes as the allostatic load. There is evidence that acute and chronic stress are significant risk factors for cardiovascular, immunological, and psychological health problems as well as impairments in the central nervous system. It is noted that 80% of all sickness is related to the allostatic and that  most Health and economic disparities due to race contribute to the allostatic load.

The allostatic load can predict what our health is and what it would be like in 3-5 years.  The higher that allostatic load the more damage it is doing to our bodies and the more we need to be concerned.

STWF  is striving to make a family’s life easier by removing barriers that can help to reduce the allostatic load, simple stuff like addressing food insufficiency and food insecurity, providing space for health education and meal opportunities, reduce homelessness and provide temporary rest spots,  providing items for families that are not part of the US anti-poverty programs – like diapers and personal hygiene products, doing parent advocacy, and providing ways to help keep resiliency behavior  in check !

With Three Hundred partners joining the 600 Club”  STWF can maintain the work it takes to decrease the allostatic load or increase resiliency to promote healing and good health in the community.   Every Year in Austin poverty levels are increasing by record numbers!

For ending the cycle for poverty for single mothers and in order to continue to keep implementing relief and solution while building a foundation for our Support Center -It will take the help from  partners like you.

Our budget for 2020-2022 is estimate at 500K.  STWF is a 501©3 and we desperately need your sustainer/donation support to contribute toward our capacity building to continue our efforts in building a stronger healthier Texas.

With your donations for Project twenty/600  by joining our  “600 Club” this is doable and will help us reach a small percentage our the funding for this year of 2020

By joining our “600 Club” we can accomplish:

  • 100 people to give 100 for six months or a one-time donation of 600 = 60,000
  • 200 people to give 50 for six months or a one-time donation 300= 120,000

With your partnership of our “600 Club” STWF can continue to examine how community stress interacts with individual stress experiences generationally and across the community, exploring to what extend community design can facilitate the mitigating factors that help with stress experience and community narrative and having conversations about facilitators or and barriers to population health improvements and guiding prioritization of intervention.

Your help with “600 Club” can continue to help STWF to:
