Renew the Build a Bot Fund
Donate a little. Give a lot.
When we say every bit helps, we really do mean it. We are raising support for students in need to build (ro)bots, but it's our community of robot loving humans that make it happen.
Last year our incredible RoboNation community donors gave what they could from $25 to $1,000+ to help reach our goal. This year, we are renewing our $10,000 goal to support a second Build a Bot award program in 2022.
There's nothing better than seeing that "light bulb moment" on a child's face when they understand the connection between their classwork and how they've just made a robot work.
Because of your support we will be able to provide schools in need with the materials to build a SeaPerch kit and the training and resources too.
Can you help make a difference?
RoboNation is a 501c3, non-profit (EIN: 52-1797483) whose mission is to provide a pathway of hands-on educational experiences that empower students to find innovative solutions to global challenges. SeaPerch is a cornerstone STEM education program of RoboNation and often the beginning of a journey into robotics.
SeaPerch aims to reduce traditional barriers to participation in robotics programs and promotes opportunities to engage students and educators in inquiry-based learning with real-world applications. One of these barriers is finding the funding to acquire the kits and equipment necessary for a build. The Build a Bot program is meant to provide students in need with the resources necessary to build a robot, learn how to use it for good and develop hands-on skills.
Your donations will help meet our goal of $10,000 to review the awards program for the Summer of 2022. With your support, we can help put bots in the hands of students and schools who are in need of support!
