Dear Friends of Katie Brown,

Thank you for volunteering for Rebuilding Together Atlanta!  We are excited to have you join our team of volunteers that have touched the lives of so many people living in our communities.

On May 1st, you will be supporting Ms. Boykins of Atlanta.  Ms. Boykins has lived in her home on Bolton Road for 35 years and is incredibly passionate about gardening.  Because of age related challenges, she is not where she wants to be with her vegetable garden right now.  Volunteers will help her rake out old leaves, do some weeding, lay topsoil and plan vegetables.

Her wall stove and cooktop are also in poor condition.  If you feel comfortable making a monetary donation to this project, the money raised from your group's day of service will go towards purchasing a stove.  We anticipate the price of a new stove, and removal of the old stove, to be around $1500.
