Take the Plunge and help the Plymouth Lions Club raise money for local food banks and those in our community in need.

How do I create a Solar Plunge fundraising team?  Use the "Create a fundraiser" link on this page then choose "Create your own fundraiser".  Give your team a wackey name, then simply provide the fundraising link to your solar plunge teammates so they can send the link to their friends and ask them to donate to your team challange. 

 

How do I become a member of an existing team?  Teammates can join your existing team by clicking the "Create a fundraiser" link on this page then choosing "Join and existing team".  When you select a team to join you can set up your own fundraising site that is linked to the team.  Then they simply email that link to your own group of supporters and all donations roll up to the main team name.

 

How do I donate to a team so I don't have to jump in a lake?  

There are two ways to donate to the Solar Plunge challenge: 

  • Using the link your team provided to you via email, simply select the amount you want to donate, enter your payment information and thats it, your donation will automatically be linked to your team.
  • Or text the word "Donate" to this number (508) 504-9047 to make a general donation to the Solar Plunge challange.

 

How and when does my team attend the Solar Plunge event? 

Solar Plunge teams who raise a minimum of $500 will be sent a Golden Ticket (email) with details on  where and when to arrive.  In order to comply with Covid-19 regulations and ensure your safety no more than 10 teams will be allowed on site at a time.  Teams will be given specific time slots to arrive and plunge throughout the day.  We will communicate all the details in the email to the team captains when you reach your fundraising goal.
