It's a 10-step covered walk from the outdoor casita entrance to the front door. All 5 bedrooms in the home have en suite bathrooms. There are 3 king bedrooms, 2 queen bedrooms, and the 6th bedroom has a very comfortable pullout queen sleeper. The Deschutes River Trailhead is only a few steps from the back door (50 yards), and Phil's trail and Rimrock Trailhead are very close by. We are walking distance from the Seventh Mountain Resort, with a bar/restaurant and numerous facilities open to the public, including ice skating in the winter, river rafting and horseback riding in the spring/summer/fall. All of those can be booked through their website. They also have a disc golf course you can use, as well as a mini kids dirt track for bikes. Widgi Creek Golf Course is also very close by and has extremely reasonable rates for a great course. Please note there are 4 parking spaces in the home, but there is no street parking, so a maximum of 4 cars can be brought. Pets are welcome with a maximum of 2. There is a washer and dryer in the home that is free for your use. Please note we are in a quiet neighborhood and we have the utmost respect for our neighbors. | This striking painting is oil on canvas and 48" by 48". About the artist: When Patrick DeAngelis isn't spending time teaching students at Parker, he is creating beautiful oil paintings. His work explores light and color harmonies within vast atmospheric spaces. Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, DeAngelis studied painting under artist Fredrick Graff and earned an MFA at the New York Academy of Art in 2006. Searching for new inspiration and an opportunity to mature his style, DeAngelis relocated to Southern California in 2019. The drive west made an immediate impression as the desert and ocean become leading subjects to explore light, color and space. From this relocation, a new palette emerged, along with a further step toward abstraction and additional sensitivity to light and color. His most recent work strips the landscape of shape, line, and texture, formal elements that help articulate representational identity, in turn revealing only color, tone, and a singular suggestive line.
