Memphis Merit Academy, the only charter school in the Parkway Village community, has added one grade level every year since opening in the fall of 2019. This means we are now educating 370+ scholars in kindergarten through 5th grade - providing high quality education and support in an otherwise underserved neighborhood in Memphis, Tennessee. 

By 2026, MMA will be educating scholars in grades K-8th, which means we need more space! We have a fantastic team designing our new school, but we need your help to make it come to life. The new building will not only accommodate our growing student body, but will also allow us to offer enhanced activities for enrichment for our scholars! 

Highlights:

• Gym, for enhanced recreation, sports and exercise

• Library, for continued exposure to the joy of reading

• Indoor and outdoor play spaces, to learn and grow through play

Memphis Merit Academy Charter School operates primarily on public funding, yet the success of Memphis Merit Academy depends heavily on the backing of committed, passionate donors. Individuals who believe that every child can learn at a high level when given a rigorous curriculum, character education and the support to excel.
