He set several single-season and career receiving records as well as all-purpose yards records. His performance in Penn State's 1992 Fiesta Bowl victory over Tennessee garnered him the game's offensive MVP. The Miami Dolphins selected McDuffie in the first round (25th pick overall) of the 1993 NFL Draft. | Raisin Pie is also known as Funeral Pie or Rosina Pie (German for raisin), for many years served with the meal prepared for family and friends following a Mennonite or Amish funeral. When a friend or neighbor passed away, it was common to take a gift of food to pay respects. Before refrigeration, fresh fruits were not readily available, but most homes had dried raisins on hand. This pie became a favorite of Mennonite cooks because the ingredients were always available and the pie kept well, meaning it could be made a day or two before the funeral supper, which freed hands for other tasks.
