The Knights of Columbus Council 8156 supports individuals and families from Central Texas who need assistance through prayer, manpower and monetary aid.  Everyone at one time or another faces unforeseen circumstances and often have nowhere to turn for assistance.  Through our annual golf tournament Council 8156 helps people survive those trying times.  With your monetary suppport in our golf tournament and silent auction, we assist veterans suffering from injuries incurred in their military service and their families; people without adequate food, shelter, or clothing; women and families facing unplanned pregnancies or other family crises; people with disabilities; our brothers and sisters in Nuevo Laredo; families trying to purchase their first home; individuals in hospice care; those looking for work; and anyone else who needs a ray of hope to brighten their life.  Everytime you bid on one of our auction items, or, by participating in our charity golf tournament, you extend a helping hand to men, women and children in Central Texas who appreciate your generosity.  We thank you for helping us help others, not only with your dollars, but most significantly through your love and prayers for them.
