Hank Crippen is a veteran participant of KNBT's Walk-A-Mile event & a board member of the Comal County Crisis Center.  He has lived in New Braunfels for over 19 years and in his free time he likes listening to live music at Krause's & writing poetry...

His humor’s a treasure, it truly shines,

Making folks laugh beneath the Oak’s grand vines.

He’s a community hero, that’s for sure,

Devoting his free time, his heart’s so pure.

Running uphill both ways, a feat to behold,

Under Oak’s gentle glow, in the Texas heat and cold.

In competitions, he’s a force to be seen,

Bringing his A-game, a true champ, so keen.
