Learn about the podcasting industry from an independent perspective.

In this webinar for Journalism & Women Symposium (JAWS) members March 25 from 9-10 p.m. Eastern Time, attendees will gain an understanding of the podcasting industry from an independent perspective.

From presenter Lee Uehara, participants will learn the basics of just how simple it is to start a podcast - and WHY creating one today is a fantastic idea. Folks will walk away with a basic understanding of the podcasting landscape. They will also gain the confidence to start their own podcast and share their message with the world.

Lee Uehara is the co-founder of Asian American Podcasters Association, based in NYC, and Podthon.com, a virtual summit for podcasters. Lee hosts and/or produces five podcasts in her spare time. Her main show is the House of Lee NYC. Formerly a reporter with The Associated Press and an educator with the NYC Department of Education in the South Bronx and Harlem, Lee believes in uplifting others through, well, any medium.

This webinar a benefit for current JAWS members.
