| Meal comes with a dozen oysters hand-harvested locally from Long Cove Sea Farm. Our steamed seafood comes straight from working fishermen, caught fresh that very same day. Take in the view from our picnic tables, lining the commercial waterfront. Burnt Cove Boil is located on the grounds of Fifield Lobster Co., family-owned since 1940. You may catch a glimpse of boats unloading their haul, seals chasing fish through the cove, or a great blue heron perched on rocks. Roger's furniture has been shown in many juried shows across the country and purchased by both institutions and collectors. He retired to Stonington 15 years ago and now works in a small shop in his home where he builds furniture exclusively for his friends and family. Trestle Coffee table; Top Is made of spalted Applewood from a tree in Stonington that was felled in a large winter storm and cut into lumber by Dennis Carter at the Deer Isle Hostel. The base is made from Curley Maple, Bubinga, and Applewood with a Curley maple laminate on the lower rail. Construction consists of blind and exposed mortise and tenons locked by hardwood pins and wedges.
