ABOUT OUR AUCTION & ABC HOUSE:

The Holly Jolly Online Auction is one of ABC House's annual fundraising events! All proceeds go to helping children in crisis in our community.

ABC House is dedicated to working with children, youth, and their families to overcome the crisis of abuse and neglect in Linn and Benton counties. ABC House provides child abuse assessment services and trauma counseling to ensure children impacted by abuse receive the services needed to heal and live a healthy, happy, productive life.

AUCTION RULES (READ BEFORE BIDDING): 

1.     By bidding in ABC House’s online auction, each bidder agrees to these auction rules. 

2.     All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds unless otherwise noted. All items are “as is.” ABC House has attempted to describe and catalog items correctly, but neither warrants nor represents and in no event shall be responsible for the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, authorship, provenance or condition of the items. No statement made in this catalog shall be deemed such a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability. 

3.     The auction item value listed is an estimate of fair market value. Items have not been appraised. The amount you pay above the fair market value estimate is normally tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. Please consult your tax advisor to clarify the amount of deduction. 

4.     Payments for items purchased must be made in full on the date of the auction. The buyer is responsible for paying the credit card processing fee. These fees vary depending on payment method (bank vs VISA vs AMEX, etc), and are typically 2.9% + 30c (for credit cards) and 1%+10c (for ACH).

5.     Pick up of your purchases from ABC House must be done between December 5, 2022 and December 9, 2022 between 9:00am-5:00pm. Auction items cannot be shipped. Auction items are located at ABC House, 228 SW 5th Ave, Albany OR, 97321.

6.     You must be 21 years of age to bid on alcohol items. 

7.     Any item left unclaimed, without prior arrangements, will be sold and proceeds will go to ABC House. 

8.     ABC House reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the auction. 

9.     Unless otherwise specified, all auction gift certificates must be used within one year of the date of the auction. 

10.  Each person bidding assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and items obtained at the auction. Each bidder agrees to hold harmless any liability arising directly or indirectly from these items and the following entities: ABC House and Holly Jolly Online Auction, their elected and appointed officials, members and employees, the auction company and its agents and employees, the event organizers, sponsors, and/or volunteers connected with the auction.
